JK-6s JACK KOSTO SIGNATURE MODEL O2 USA SERIES STUDIO

The JK-6s was created with a very specific goal. Provide a comfortable, easy playing feel with a perfect weight balance. Dubbed "S" for studio, this model has a fixed Hipshot bridge and locking Gotoh machines. A 24 fret compound radius neck is deep set into an alder body with a figured maple drop top for maximum sustain and a wide tonal spectrum.

We opted for a C-Standard tuning with offset 5 and 6 string saddles for drop A capabilities.

Where we really choose to shine is the finish. A late night brainstorming messaging session with Jack Kosto resulted in what you see here:

We used Seven Spires "Lightbringer" signature brewed coffee in the actual stain. 2 wipes over the maple cap resulted in the rich, almost textured look of the JK-6s, followed up with brown pearl to accentuate the bevels and back.
The finishing touch is a ghost copper to really tie the room together.
