Blakhart is focused on providing guitars and basses that cater to the rock, metal and hardcore musician who is looking for more than what's on the wall in a big box store. The primary goal with Blakhart is to deliver high caliber, unique guitars and basses for players at respectable pricing. Blakhart prides itself on providing what musicians are looking for, so your feedback is crucial to our development.

We started as an Elite, one off custom boutique builder and have steadily grown into a bit larger production company. That being said we are focused on standard models that are all listed on our web site. We no longer build customs on a regular basis, but do make a few select customs a year. To reach a "break even" point the starting price would be about $3000.

Blakhart supports a large network of musicians and bands across the spectrum and from all over the world, so keep an eye on our 'Artist Spotlight' section as it grows and develops. Blakhart focuses on supporting artists that are working hard to forward the movement of their craft and trade.

Blakhart Guitars LLC. is one vessel that we use to help support international awareness of resource conservation, domestic animal welfare and wildlife preservation. We will be unveiling several new concepts in the next few moths to help bring to light many of the positive things these organizations are doing to help improve our Earth. You know, the only place we can live.

Greetings all,
I am guessing many of you have been wondering what the hell is going on with Blakhart and myself over the last 4-6 months. Well, this letter is FAR from formal and FAR from a stuffy press release. I started Blakhart with the sole goal to be a down to earth and personally represented company with a direct connection to you…the player. I feel I did a pretty solid job of doing just that and I am very proud of what I have built to this point. Blakhart has grown from a flotsam dream of making a few guitars for me and a couple close friends to spanning the global music market with artists in nearly every country repping and playing Blakhart guitars and basses. I never dreamed it would grow to this point, and I am excited to see where the future takes it.
In regards to the future…Blakhart will, from this point forward, be moving ahead under new ownership. I have made the decision to pass Blakhart Guitar Company on to David Zeus. He has been working alongside me for the last couple years in dealer sales and has a very good understanding in what Blakhart means to me, to the players and to our roster. I trust him with the ability to take what I have started and move forward with it. Zeus is a great guy and I know all of you will appreciate him and what he is doing for Blakhart. I will be assisting him with the transition moving forward to insure that he makes the move into ownership as smoothly as possible. This transition will begin immediately and continue until full control is managed by Zeus over the next few months. I would sincerely appreciate it if all of you would welcome him with open arms and show him the respect and gratitude that you have all shown me over that last 5 years.
I have been thinking about this for some time, and wondering if and how things would pan out. This is not something I take lightly. This change is and will affect me on every level in every way. I have poured my heart and soul into Blakhart and I will forever have a void. I will do my best to remain in contact with all of the friends and acquaintances I have made during my time as owner of Blakhart Guitars. You have all played a HUGE role and I owe many of you greatly. I hope that you will also remain in contact with me and keep me informed as you plow ahead in your lives and careers as musicians. I know many of you have bright things in your futures. I wish you all the best moving forward on every level.

Chad Petit (Buford Strange)
